My mom and I had lunch today and it was very tasty. Our server was Ellen T, it was her first day. Wow! What an asset to Olive Garden. Her trainer was Beth and was very sweet. I will ask for Ellen any day of the week! Go Girl!

Blecch. I hadn't been to Olive Garden for a decade or more; now I remember why. I had the appetizer sampler; I chose stuffed mushrooms, fried mozzarella and toasted ravioli. The stuffed mushrooms were soggy, mushy and overly garlicky. The fried mozzarella, usually a sure thing in most restaurants, was cold (as opposed to the mushrooms which literally scalded skin off the roof of my mouth) and bland. Most disappointing of all were the toasted ravioli. Hard, dry, flavorless and in one notable instance, fillingless (as was one of the mozzarella triangles; I literally began to feel like I was being punked and expected Ashton Kucher to be lurking in the background disguised as a busboy). Since my mother-in-law was treating me to supper I didn't want to make a fuss and hurt her feelings, but rest assured I will do anything in my power to avoid eating at an Olive Garden ever again. Staff was courteous, but nothing spectacular. I tipped my usual 25%; it's not the wait staff's fault the food was disgusting.

We came in Monday night for a quick bite before our movie. We had Coral as a waiter. What an interesting individual. It is nice tho that you hire those with special needs but we would love one that didn't smell like marijuana and a bottle of booze. Is that too much to ask? We had a newer girl stop by our table a few times to help us with refills as Coral was nowhere to be found. We had Bentley a few months back and will be sure to re-ask for him as Bentley was a delight.

Dunno why I bother to rate chain restaurants, but hey... the prosciutto & cheese filled small plate, with bacon in top, is amazing. No warning that Caesar salad is a $3 up-charge though, which is always annoying.

Went to this location with my boss for my 1 year anniversary at work. I had one of the new dishes, which was fantastic. Even though it was busy, the food came quickly, and it was great!

We came here on Friday evening and was overall not satisfied. The hostess was nice but our server seemed to have forgotten about us throughout the meal. She had two other tables, one large, a two top, and us. Someone else got our drinks saying she was to busy to come, which we never got refills on. When she finally did come to take our order she landed the soups and bread 5-7 minutes later, never came back until our plates came out. She then took the soups, not offering more and came back 25 minutes later offering a box. I went to use the restroom and apparently when she dropped the bill she offered to refill my glass - save it I want the heck out of here. There was a server handling the tables across from us and I wish we would have had her - she looked very attentive and great. But our short blonde hair female server, just didn't cut it this time. When I got back from the restroom I tucked the cash in the little folder thing waited 5 minutes and left - she was conversing with other employees back turned to us didn't even notice we left.

The hype for this place is ridiculous. I ordered some kind of pasta with chicken and Alfredo and it tasted as if I made it myself at home and just slapped on some frozen chicken from a local store. I will say the service was good and the environment inside was very nice. Also the salad was good but the bread sticks were so salty. I might give this place another chance but definitely didn't have a good first experience.

Just ate a quick meal here. My server Mallory was amazing!!! I'm very picky and had a lot of substitutions but she got them all right. Then she ran after me when I left my card with the check. This was awesome because my flight home is tomorrow and that would have been a pain!! Thanks Mallory!!!!!

I love the soup, salad and bread stick lunch. The rest of the menu is okay but nothing to go crazy over. I never really go here for dinner its more of a lunch place for me. The service is pretty good but noting off the charts. This is a sold three start place, not bad for a chain.

Haven't been to this location in over 20 years. Since leaving this area, I generally avoid the Olive Garden because of mediocre quality/service. But this particular location is great. Our server, Patrick, is one of the best wait staff I've encountered in long time (he even remembered who wanted ice/didn't want ice for drink refills), the food was perfect, and the manager checked in to make sure all was well. Very pleasant indeed.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
